To transact, prepare, examine and analyse financial records in accordance with the laws of Azerbaijan and the parent company . Preparing and submitting all tax documents. The role combines accounting skills with business management skills.
Responsible for all financial transactions of the accounts and related records in compliance with the laws of Azerbaijan
Resposible for the statutory accounts as in company in compliance with reporting requirements of the parent company
Preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare and transact all month end journals, accruals and prepayments
Ensure all sales and purchase transactions are posted accurately
Responsible for the debtors ledger, incorporating all credit control requirements to ensure balances are kept to a minimum
Responsilbe for the creditors ledger and timely posting of invoices leading to timely payment of our debts to suppliers
Managing and processing payroll including maintenance of payroll records and statutory compliances
Champion the utilisation of the ERP sysem for all company processes and accounting transactions
Any other matter concerning day to day accounting transactions
Computation of taxes as per the tax laws as applicable
Attending to tax audits and inspections by statutory authorities
Local funds management by daily allocation of receipts and payments
Perform daily bank reconciliations
Manage and reconcile petty cash transactions
Submission of weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts
Comply with all Company rules and procedures including Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements.
Fully conversant in written and verbal Azeri, Russian and English
Prior financial accounting experience is essential
Accounting qualification or qualified by experience
The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
An aptitude for IT – knowledge of software packages like Excel, ERP system, BACS, outlook and word.
