System Administrator

Responsibilities:

Purpose:
System Administrator installs, maintains, monitors, upgrades, manages and supports IT systems of Company. This includes organization, operation and improvement of all hardware, software, and resolution of imperfections
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installing and configuring software and hardware
• Managing servers and technology tools
• Managing accounts and workstations
• Monitoring performance and maintaining systems according to requirements
• Troubleshooting issues and outages
• Ensuring security through access controls, backups and firewalls
• Updating and upgrading systems where needed
• Developing expertise to train staff on new technologies
• Creating internal technical documentation, manuals and procedures
Ability to temporary substitute Network administrator

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS
• BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline;
• Proven experience as a System Administrator or in similar role (at least 2 years)
• Professional certifications is considered as a plus

SKILLS

• Strong knowledge of Windows Client and Server Operating Systems families
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Management
• Strong knowledge of MS Exchange server or Office 365 system
• Strong knowledge of Networking (LANs/WANs, Routing)
• Strong knowledge of Monitoring Tools
• Strong knowledge of Server hardware
• Strong knowledge of Virtualization technologies
• Knowledge of SAN and protocols (FC/iSCSI), multi-pathing technologies (MPIO), disks, volumes, mount points
• Knowledge of MS SQL and Oracle databases is considered as a plus
• Knowledge of Linux is considered as a plus
• Experience with FortiGate firewall equipment considered as a plus
• Experience with Cisco equipment considered as a plus
• Knowledge of Azeri (fluent), Technical English (intermediate)
