• Determine the business needs of a client, regardless of industry;
• Determine client's operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats;
• Analyze the client's structure of a business and the level technological maturity;
• Elicit the requirements by conducting interviews, system analysis, focus groups, observation, site surveys, document analysis, brainstorming, preparing surveys and questionnaires;
• Document and analyze the requirements using various tool including but not limited to documentation, workflow charts and diagrams, SWOT, and data modeling techniques and methods;
• Preparing project related documents like Business case, Software Requirements Specification, Business Process Description and etc.
• Trace the requirements, monitor changes and conflicting needs;
• Communicate requirements and solutions with all level stakeholders;
• Establishes and maintains liaison relationship with client, project stakeholder, project teams, business partners and vendors;
• Monitor project progress on level of the responsibility by planning and tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports and recommending actions;
• Prepare technical reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information;
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports;
• On the level of responsibilities actively participate in the solution development and testing process;
• Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement;
• Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential;
• Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills;
• Understanding of systems engineering concepts;
• Formulate ways for businesses to improve, based on previous research;
• Persuade internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of new technology or strategies;
• Oversee the implementation of new technology and systems;
• Run workshops and training sessions;


• At least 3 years of proven working experience in project management in IT and Telecom industries
• Candidate must have proven working experience in business analyst position
• Solid technical background with understanding and hands-on experience in one of the following technologies:
o software development
o implementation of complex software solutions for document management, financial systems and web applications
• Client-facing and internal communication skills
• Written and verbal communication skills (Azerbaijani, English and Russian)
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

Education and certification
• Bachler degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• PMP certification
• Business Analyst certification is preferable option
