Job Description

Responsibilities :


Leads the Planning and Performance function of the Oil & Gas Company and Company’s assets reporting to General Manager. Position holder will be responsible for designing and implementing improved strategic and operational planning and performance processes, supporting the Company to build robust, measurable workplans through which delivery can be managed and achieved.

Prepare an efficient detailed Integrated Master Schedule and maintain knowledge of all key project milestones
Design & implement functional and governance meetings
Coordinate delivery of company level projects in coordination with all relevant stakeholders
Deliver appropriate business performance management processes to support the delivery of key milestones and plans
Work with all the functions/parts of the organization to drive demonstrable conformance with requirements in the Performance-related Practices
Drive standardized business performance management through the implementation reports and identify/share good practices
Maintain optimal level of performance within required budget and ensure compliance to all standard projects
Be responsible for the accuracy, consistency of management information and data from the departments, ensuring that effective controls are developed and implemented to improve quality of outputs
Independently carry out appropriate high-level analysis, evaluation and modelling, on a wide range of planning and performance data and produce appropriate reports and papers
Provide advice to executives, communicate and consult on a broad range of corporate strategy and performance improvement issues to encourage the building of an organizational culture that supports performance improvement through innovation
To advise on strategic planning, performance monitoring and improvement strategies
Perform all or some of the responsibilities above and other related duties as assigned

Requirements :


10+ years of prior experience in relevant field, preferably Oil and Gas
Degree in finance / economics / engineering or professional qualification
Experience of developing a performance measurement and monitoring framework to monitor progress of plans
Experience of working with large datasets and interpreting and presenting key findings
Experience of analyzing, writing and contributing to papers that concisely deliver information that should be used in the decision-making process
Experience of managing and coordinating a number of different projects at once.


Accuracy and attention to detail
Project management organization and time management skills
Excellent command of Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write concise reports to summarize and communicate complex issues
Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders
Excellent IT skills, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel
Knowledge of planning tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project
Flexibility in resolving issues and addressing changing priorities.
