Job Description

Responsibilities :

Developing and implementing effective investment processes and strategies 
Conducting thorough research on investment market behavior 
Providing the investment committee with investment recommendations 
Preparing and maintaining investment reports  
Performing regular investment reviews 
Analyzing the company’s legacy portfolio and past investment decisions and suggesting improvements 
Ensuring that the investment processes comply with the industry standards 
Keeping up-to-date with any changes or developments in the investment sector 
Analyzing the company’s budget and allocating assets 
Monitoring the company’s investments
Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
Reviewing the company’s financial statements and proposing recommendations to the committees and the Board
Compares revenue and profit projections of investee companies to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
Reviews the planning process of investee companies and suggests improvements to current methods.
Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.
Works with the CEO and committees to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process. In addition, provides opinion & recommendations on performance of investee companies performance. 
Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on the future growth of revenue.
Identifies opportunities for expansion into new investments/sectors.
Undertakes regular site visits of investee companies’ legacy and new.
Oversees investment of funds and works with investment companies to raise additional capital required for expansion.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
CFA, CPA and/or MBA is not a must but preferable
Diverse Investment experience in the Agriculture, Production, and Real estate sectors is highly valued
Minimum 10 years of experience as a Chief Investment Officer, Chief Financial Officer or a similar position in the Finance department or investment banking.
Complete understanding of investment techniques, products, and procedures 
Up-to-date with the latest developments in the financial sector 
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 
Good time management and organizational skills 
Strong researching and critical thinking abilities 
Good communication and interpersonal skills 
Strong ethical behavior 
Fluency in English and Russian 
Ability to multitask and manage stressful situations 
Highly motivated and results-driven individual
