Report to : Operations Manager
Key Role:
Monitor the efficacy of the department, improve operating processes, and report to line manager. Control of all activities associated with Baku Office Operations, overseeing on-site Transportation, ensure all material movements are conducted effectively and efficiently without compromising HSSEQI requirements
Interfaces with: Customer Project Management team / Project Manager Baku / Subcontract Operations Manager / H/L Specialist and Transport Manager / HSSQE Manager / LV Operations & Customs Departments
Responsibilities :
Responsibility & Objectives:
- Identify potential problem areas that will or may affect the
supply of services and take necessary remedial action to mitigate such problems
- Design and implement departmental policies, procedures, goals and objectives
- Collaborate with sales professionals to understand customer needs and specific requirements, customize delivery needs and provide sales people with tools like pricing sheets and product information and specs
- Communicate with customers to get feedback that can be used in improving processes and customer service; assist in solving problems and providing consulting assistance to create brand loyalty and lasting relationships
- Come up with effective strategies to enhance the company’s financial health
- Motivate & supervise the assigned employees, evaluate their performance, deliver positive/negative feedback
- Prepare reports that include sales data, financial activity, performance outcomes, goal achievement and overall productivity to present to executive management
- Consult with other departmental managers to determine sales, discounts or promotions and verify that all sales people are familiar with the details of what is being offered
- Participate in training and evaluating members of the sales team and providing helpful feedback concerning the achievement of personal and team goals
Main Objective:
Overall responsibility for managing project resources and ensuring material movements are conducted effectively and efficiently in line with HSSE & Quality requirements
