Job Description
Responsibilities :
• Maintaining accounting ledger and processes for clients
• Preparation and submission of all statutory reports
• Input transactions in accounting software (1C)
• Accounting and controlling of bank related transactions
• Monitoring AR/AP settlements
• Preparation of payroll and calculation of all related taxes
• Maintaining correspondence with tax and other authorities as required
• Assist manager in month-end and year-end close process
• Record keeping of documents in accordance with statutory requirements
• Preparation of Project Reports and reconciliation of accounting data
• Assist in tax review processes and reporting
• Performing other daily accounting and tax tasks
• Assist management other business related issues
Requirements :
• University degree in Finance, Accounting and/or other related business disciplines
• Knowledge of Azerbaijan Tax regulations as well as PSA taxation
• Practical knowledge of statutory accounting procedures and principles
• Strong knowledge of 1 C (other accounting software is an advantage)
• 3 years of work experience in the related filed is required
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English, Russian language is an asset
• Professional qualifications are an advantage (ACCA, DipIFR, Certificate of a Professional Accountant (PAC), etc.)
• Solid knowledge and working experience of MS Office Programs-Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook (advanced Excel is a must)
• Good team player
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet the deadlines
• Problem-solving and decision- making skills
