Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all transportation infrastructure of organization;

• Supervise the movement, distribution, and storage of supplies and materials in the Company;

• Ensure the timely maintenance of company owned vehicles and machinery;

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and services;

• Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles;

• Develop and coordinate logistics strategy for heavy equipment;

• Implement appropriate HSE, discipline and other guidelines and investigate unsafe conditions;

• Monitor, organize and manage waste disposal, collection, and recycling facilities;

• Work with project staff including schedulers to plan material and equipment deliveries to job site and work site;

• Establish secure warehousing and laydown areas, manage inventory supply and withdrawal;

• Comply with transportation-related policies, as well as safety rules, union contracts, and government regulations;

• Effectively manage logistics contractors.

Required experience and skills: 

• At least 10 years of experience in vehicle and equipment repair, or experience in heavy equipment parts management, or experience in transportation, procurement, or inventory control in Oil & Gas, Energy, and Heavy Industry companies; 

• Excellent leadership ability, strong interpersonal skills including work ethic;

• Fluent in Azerbaijani, English (Russian language is advantage);

• Solid knowledge of the transportation industry and logistics;

• Onshore field experience is preferred;

• International experience is desirable.
