Responsibilities :
Key responsibilities
Technical Strategy Formulation:
Collaborate closely with leadership to design and refine the well delivery processes,
ensuring alignment with the company's vision and strategic objectives.
Operational Excellence:
Steer the day to day activities of the SME group, confirming that all members consistently work
towards set targets and milestones.
Technical Assurance Program:
Develop a robust technical review mechanism for all assets. This includes defining the
review objectives, assembling the right review team, and ensuring clear communication of findings to upper management.
Lessons Learned:
Head the retrospection processes for new well ventures and interventions, ensuring that key takeaways
are documented and integrated into future projects.
Technical Consulting:
Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries from various company departments,
providing insights and recommendations based on expertise.
Industry Engagement:
Actively participate in professional societies such as SPE, SPWLA, AAPG, and IADC. Stay updated
with crucial technical developments and publications, ensuring the SME group remains at the industry's forefront.
Continuous Monitoring:
Regularly track industry trends, technological innovations, and emerging best practices to
guarantee the SME group's consistent up to date knowledge.
Best Practices Implementation:
Identify and propagate best practices across different teams, emphasizing knowledge
sharing and standardization.
Requirements :
Education

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Petroleum
Engineering or related field.
Technical
▪
Minimum 7 years of experience in well
delivery or related field
▪
Excellent knowledge of drilling, completions,
interventions and well integrity
▪
Experience in developing & implementing
new standards and procedures to enhance
reservoir management well designs, drilling,
completions & interventions
▪
Experience in conducting technical Peer
▪
Reviews of subsurface deliverables drilling,
completions and interventions
▪
Experience in developing technical
competency, mentoring and coaching
programs
▪
Strong analytical & problem solving skills.
▪
Knowledge of industry regulations, standards,
and best practices.
▪
Operator experience is essential
