Responsibilities :
Main Functions:
• Preparation of procedures for expansion of the Project Management Office;
• Support development of the organizational project management methodology and control measures;
• Monitor multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment to ensure projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets;
• Ensure PMO project execution methodology applied to all projects;
• Liaise with project management team to clarify project scope and objectives that align with strategic goals;
• Analyze project progress and propose recommendations for resolution of main issues and risks;
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders, progress reports and etc.;
• Assist functional project managers on organizational project management methodology;
• Support functional project managers in appropriate resource assignment to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs;
• Coordinating, scheduling, budgeting, and monitoring PMO related projects;
• Supporting PMO for achieving strategic goals by executing required activities;
• Supporting PMO for achieving organizational goals while upholding standards and best practices;
• Reporting on progress of the strategic projects using project management tools;
Requirements :
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business administration, Engineering, or a related field;
• 2-3 years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Management Specialist, Project Engineer on technical projects;
• Strong knowledge and experience with PMI standards (PMP certification will be an advantage);
• Understanding of finance, procurement, logistics, legal principles;
• Fluent knowledge of Azerbaijani and English languages (Russian will be an advantage);
• Advanced user of MS Office (in particular MS Project & MS Excel & MS Visio & MS Power Point).
