Job Description

Portfolio Management Division is part of Portfolio Management and Investment Monitoring Department. The purpose of the division is to carry out financial and operational review of the assets within Company portfolio, determine the strategic fit and synergy, and provide value optimization or divestment recommendations to the management.

Responsibilities :

Key Accountabilities
1. Develop Portfolio Strategy, assess current portfolio performance and gaps based on defined metrics at BU/Asset level to achieve Company's aspiration and long-term strategy.
2. Devise and lead the formulation and development of Company's integrated model and evaluation of portfolio options by conducting periodical portfolio and asset analysis, to ensure the realization of desired portfolio against changing environment.
3. Lead and guide the formulation of integrated portfolio optimization and project prioritization for Company by identifying gaps, providing options and recommendations of portfolio moves to enable value-generating portfolio options to Company. 
4. Design, guide and review on high grading exercise of the current portfolio by developing the methodology and validate key findings on value, opportunities, risk and do-ability of existing and emerging assets to provide quality recommendations for portfolio and assets to support Company's aspirations and long term strategy.
5. Provide balanced view of organic and inorganic growth opportunities taking into account strategic fit into portfolio, value creation, capital constraints, risks and opportunities. 

Requirements :

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or any related discipline
Master’s degree, MBA, CFA, ACCA, CIMA or similar would be an advantage
At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in Asset portfolio management, M&A activities, Financial Modeling, Corporate strategy, Corporate Finance or similar functions
At least 3 -5 years of experience in people management and leadership position
Experience and good knowledge of energy industry would be an advantage
Strong leadership, organizational, analytical and communication skills
Fluency in Azerbaijani and English
