Responsibilities :
We invite a Local Project Manager to manage one of our projects to oversee a multidisciplinary project team, including engineers, technicians, contractors, and support staff, to ensure effective collaboration and timely project delivery.
Local Project Manager duties & responsibilities include to prepare regular progress reports, and updates for project stakeholders, management to communicate project status, achievements, and challenges. establish and enforce quality assurance and control measures to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards and specifications.
Responsibilities
The local PM shall act as a deputy team leader and shall provide hands-on support to the PM in all of his/her tasks.
The LPM will be expected to add value to the assignment by utilising his/her knowledge of local conditions and regulations and shall act as a main liaison with the Client and other local stakeholders. The LPM shall follow the PM’s guidance on discharging his/her duties. Develop monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to track project performance, assess outcomes, and identify areas for improvement or adjustment.

• preferably 5 years of previous professional experience in relevant project management in Azerbaijan.;
• project management experience is mandatory
• IFI procurement experience in comparable projects would be an asset;
• proficiency in written and spoken English;
• knowledge of requirements of Azerbaijani legislation concerning construction, financial, accounting and disbursement issues; and knowledge of Azerbaijani.
