Responsibilities :
Key Duties:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing the following:
● Participating in the preparation of the required documentation to compete for engineering opportunities in tenders organized by clients;
● Providing data for contracting with clients for the execution of design and survey works, including the scope of design and surveys, and preparing a schedule for the development of project design and estimate documentation;
● Ensuring the formation of a project development team, distributing tasks among team members for various sections and components of a project, and proper budgeting for their compensation;
● Preparing tasks for subcontracted design and survey companies for the execution of assigned work and providing these companies with the necessary initial data for engineering processes; timely addressing any issues that arise for subcontracted companies during the development of design and estimate documentation;
● Coordinating design and survey work throughout a project, ensuring the delivery of complete project design and estimate documentation to the client within the deadlines stipulated in the contract for such works, and monitoring the proper expenditure of funds on design and survey works;
● Ensuring the compliance of projects with the engineering task;
● Obtaining approvals for the compliance of engineering documentation with technical regulations from expert examination authorities and higher bodies;
● Coordinating documentation that deviates from existing rules with state supervision bodies and relevant organizations that have approved them;
● Representing, adjusting, and accepting the results of engineering surveys and project documentation;
● Approving the results of engineering surveys and project documentation;
● Defending the project before higher organizations and state expert examination;
● Monitoring the technical and economic aspects of engineering solutions and the deadlines for the development of design and estimate documentation.
Requirements :
Required Skills and Experience:
● Experience in designing, conducting expert examinations, and performing supervision for power facilities, such as Substations, Distribution Points, and HV Switchgear with voltages of 35 kW and above;
● Strong experience in independently engineering either electrical solutions or secondary systems for a minimum of 3-5 years;
● Proven experience in successfully passing state expert examinations or the Glavgosexpertiza examinations with positive outcomes;
● Experience in author supervision;
● Experience in navigating the approval processes.
