Responsibilities :
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary health advisor for operations, ensuring the implementation and maintenance of health standards in compliance with industry and local regulations.
- Provide medical expertise and support in operational locations such as customer rigs (land / offshore), vessels, company facilities
- Conduct health assessments, screenings, and evaluations for employees working
- Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
- Participate in incident investigations and provide medical expertise for HSE-related incidents.
- Deliver training sessions on health-related and injury prevention topics to employees and management as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in health and safety management.
- Provide medical consultation and support for employees and their dependents experiencing health-related issues, including injuries, illnesses, and emergencies, collaboration with health insurance providers and clinics
- Develop a Medical Emergency Response Plan (MERP) alongside regular medevac drills.
- Implement daily health screenings for drivers.
- Provide periodic reports to both direct and functional managers.
Location:
Company base, however, employee might be expected to travel offshore once- twice per year for the short visit
Requirements :
Required Experience and Skills:
- Medical degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a site doctor at a rig, vessel, or plant in a remote location.
- Strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in HSE management or a strong understanding of HSE principles and practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic work environments and manage priorities effectively.
- Fluent in Azerbaijani and English
