Responsibilities :
Financial Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with overall company goals;
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and business planning;
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports;
• Communicate financial performance to the executive team;
• Monitor key financial metrics and identify areas of concern or improvement;
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
Risk Management and Compliance:
• Mitigate financial risks by implementing robust internal controls and procedures;
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and standards;
• Manage relationships with auditors and external stakeholders
Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence;
• Set performance objectives, conduct performance reviews, and provide professional development opportunities;
• Drive collaboration across departments to achieve cohesive financial strategies.
Treasury and Cash Management:
• Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure operational needs are met;
• Develop strategies for optimizing working capital and minimizing financial risks;
• Monitor and manage the company's financing arrangements and debt structure.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to support cross-functional initiatives;
• Build strong relationships with external partners, including major customers and financial institutions.
Business Insights and Decision Support:
• Provide actionable financial insights to support business decisions and strategies;
• Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to assess potential impacts on financial performance.
Requirements :
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's/MBA preferred);
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is highly desirable;
• Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior finance role, with a substantial portion in an Real Estate and Construction industry;
• Strong understanding of Real Estate and Construction industry dynamics, trends, and challenges;
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial reporting;
• Demonstrated experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting;
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• Effective communication and presentation skills for both financial and non-financial audiences;
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems;
• Strong command of the English language;
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
• Sound understanding of risk management, compliance, and internal controls.
