Responsibilities :
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of zone AV infrastructure.
• Ensure that AV infrastructure meets the needs of various venue events and activities, such as conferences, meetings, and events.
• Be responsible person and SPoC for dedicated zone.
• Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of audio-visual systems within the responsible zone, such as sound systems, video displays, lighting equipment etc.
• Coordinate zone technical activities with cross-functional leads/teams to ensure proper planning of the zone AV infrastructure.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure that AV systems are properly installed, calibrated, and integrated with other venue technologies.
• Coordinate technical support and troubleshooting for AV systems during events, addressing any issues or malfunctions promptly.
• Collaborate with event organizers and stakeholders to understand their technology requirements and preferences for venue events.
• Coordinate the setup and operation of technology equipment and services during events, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns to Project Manager in order to maintain service quality and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Supervise technical team including AV technicians, AV engineers, and support specialists.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the AV team.
• Ensure compliance with technical requirements in technology operations.
• Serve as the point of contact for dedicated zone for internal stakeholders, external partners, and AV vendors regarding zone AV matters.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to promote collaboration and support the success of venue events and activities.
• Report on status, risks and issues to Project Manager in timely manner.
Requirements :
• Previous experience in events venue technology management is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Theatre, IT, AV Technology, or related field preferred.
• Significant experience in technical management within a venue, or similar setting.
• Extensive knowledge of current audio, visual, and lighting technologies, as well as IT and network systems.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team of technical professionals.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
