Job Description
Responsible for promoting medical products and services to hospitals, clinics, doctors' offices, and healthcare professionals. Promoting products such as medicines to be used in general practices, primary care trusts, hospitals and pharmacies.
Responsibilities :
• Travel to defined geographies and contact potential customers at hospitals, clinics, doctors' offices and nursing homes to promote medical products.
• Arrange appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams.
• Deliver presentations to medical professionals in Company surgeries, hospital doctors and pharmacists in the retail sector.
• Build relationships with medical staff.
• Improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Stay informed about the activities of health services in a particular area.
• Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related sales results as needed.
