Job Description

Responsibilities :

Strategic Planning and Business Development
Develop sales strategies for Oil and Gas (O&G) and Power industries in Azerbaijan aligned with company objectives.
Coordinate with Business Development to assess new business prospects.
Drive growth of the BU through large-scale Industrial Services (IS), EPC, and Manufacturing projects aligned with core competencies.
Expand BU's portfolio to include O&G plant turnarounds, shutdowns, asset performance management (APM), maintenance & EPC retrofits, tanks maintenance, and process equipment manufacturing & supply.

Organization and Coordination
Manage and coordinate key functions to align operations with business plans.
Implements strong reporting structure to enhance efficiency thereby leading to effective control of the processes

Client Relationship:
Ensures that all concerned Project Managers fulfill all contractual commitments towards clients.
Implement robust reporting structures for enhanced BU’s efficiency and process control.

Project Management:
Develops and implements financial mechanisms for managing, planning, executing, and monitoring project progress and efficiency to ensure projects are completed safely within budget and schedule.

Proposals
Coordination with proposal department in preparing and reviewing the competitive project proposals.

Financial Management:
Provide input for annual budget preparation in consultation with ISD Head Finance, securing management approval.
Implement procedural controls to enhance competitiveadvantage in sourcing, procurement, and shipment
.
Monitor expenses to stay within approved budgets at both BU and Project levels.
Develop strategies to boost BU profitability.

People Management
Provide leadership & technical solutions to Dept. Incharges.
Drive BU objectives through strong leadership, setting goals, managing performance, and providing feedback.
Collaborate with HR on hiring, succession planning, development, recruitment, and retention strategies.
Utilize challenging assignments and mentoring to develop employees for higher roles.

Taking the Ownership of Company QHSE Policy:
Responsible for ensuring a safe work environment, managing risks, minimizing liability exposure, and enforcing QHSE policy implementation.
Adhere to QA/QC standards (DIMS standards) for consistent quality in company operations.

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal:
With Division President, for briefings on the BU’s performance and new initiatives.
With other BU Heads, Project Managers and Departmental Incharges for work related issues
With representatives of Joint venture companies for matters of mutual interest.
External
With Clients for briefing them regarding the progress of projects.
With potential clients for negotiating different terms and conditions for new projects.

Requirements :

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge Base:
15+ years of overall experience in a large-scale EPC and Service company with 5 to 7 years in an Operations leadership position
Deep knowledge of O&G downstream: Refineries, Petrochemicals, Fertilizers & Gas Processing Plants
Expertise in O&G asset management, plant turnaround & shutdown maintenance, and EPC workflows
