Responsibilities :
Tasks and Obligations:
• Assessing and reporting overall business performance.
• Working with other business functions including marketing, finance, operations, supply.
• Using statistical analysis to understand the correlation between business indicators and key drivers.
• Forecasting of transactions and sales based on statistical modelling;
• Product mix analysis using regression models;
• In-depth analysis of sales in terms of sales channels, day sections and days of the week;
• Forecasting / planning of product mix and volume of advertising products.
• Presenting business strategies and insights to cross-functional teams.
• Communicate effectively with relevant audiences, including executive management and cross-functional teams, to gather key insights.
Requirements :
Educational Background
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Experience
• Industry Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or business analytics, preferably in Restaurants, FMCG, or retail industries.
• Analytical Skills: Good experience in handling and interpreting large data sets (such as Product Mix, Business Insights), drawing actionable insights from consumer and sales data.
• Research Skills: Good experience in designing and managing qualitative and quantitative consumer research (e.g., surveys, focus groups, segmentation studies).
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in analytical tools and software for presentations (e.g., PPT, Power BI, Excel).
• Familiarity with data collection and visualization platforms (e.g., Nielsen, Kantar, Salesforce, or similar systems).
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling.
Key Competencies
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate consumer and market insights into business opportunities and strategic decisions.
• Communication Skills: Strong storytelling and presentation skills to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Business Acumen: Understanding of the market dynamics, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape in Azerbaijan and the region.
Language Skills
• Besides Azerbaijani language, good level of English and Russian is an advantage.
Personality
• High curiosity about consumer behavior and market trends.
• Result-oriented, detail-driven, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
