Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Warehouse Director to lead and optimize warehouse operations for a fast-growing international company in the food sector. This role is critical in ensuring efficient supply chain flow, inventory control, food safety compliance, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities :
Lead and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, dispatch, and inventory control
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, cost control, and service levels
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and company policies
Manage warehouse team, including supervisors and operational staff (hiring, training, performance management)
Oversee inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and loss prevention
Coordinate closely with procurement, logistics, and restaurant operations teams
Implement warehouse KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Optimize warehouse layout, workflows, and technology usage
Requirements :
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in warehouse/logistics management (FMCG, food, retail, or food sector preferred)
At least 3–5 years in a senior or director-level role managing large teams and operations
Strong knowledge of inventory management, supply chain processes, and food safety standards
Proven leadership and people management skills
Experience working in international or large-scale companies is mandatory
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Fluency in Azerbaijani and Russian; English is highly preferred
