Job Description
Responsibilities :
• Ensure the delivery of the followings as per project requirements:
o Power System Studies, Load Flow & Short Circuit Calculation for Power and Industrial Plants;
o Switchgear datasheet/specification, MCC and MV and LV switchgear engineering follow up;
o Load list, transformer, generator and cable sizing;
o CT&PT Sizing;
o Survey & Work of scope preparation for modification projects;
o Vendor document review and commenting;
o Earthing grid calculations;
o Schematic interconnection diagrams for equipment supply;
o Single Line Diagrams (Protection & Metering, Key Single Line Diagrams);
o MTO preparation (power equipment & bulks);
o Heat Tracing Philosophy & Design developing;
o Lighting & Small Power design;
• Attend PID, Loop diagram, ETD review and commissioning;
• Prepare Vendor scope of work;
• Co-ordinate and be the focal point to manage issues between Company’s Engineering Disciplines and Vendors in relation to imposed plot plan and electrical design;
• Interface with other disciplines and execution centers;
• Lead a design team, giving clear technical direction, as well as mentoring the more junior engineers/designers in the group;
• Support, upon request of Project / Company Management, the preparation of proposals, by estimating the Electrical activities;
• Promptly report to Project / Company Management any technical and organizational issue during the execution of the assigned Project.
Requirements :
Qualifications
• University Degree in relevant discipline;
• 12+ years of relevant experience in reputable Engineering Companies;
• Competent with relevant international/local codes and standards;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
• Highly motivated and self-directed with strong communication skills;
• Good written and verbal communication skills (in English, Azeri and Russian).
