• Understanding and applying the knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA);

• Understanding and applying the knowledge of International Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards (IAS and IFRS);

• Leading audits and reviewing audit work performed by junior staff;

• Performing more complex sections assigned and preparation of audit work papers;

• Effectively communicating with the client personnel and engagement team;

• Assisting senior in-charge and/or manager on different client and engagement matters;

• Allocating work in accordance with audit qualification levels to ensure the due performance of an engagement;

• Informing seniors in-charge, managers and partners in due time of audit results. In the event of audit-related issues, making suggestions to resolve them in accordance with Company requirements;

• Preparing audit engagement deliverables in accordance with Company policies and procedures, indicating all weaknesses discovered during the work process and making suggestions to management to address them.

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field;

• ACCA qualification (F1, F2, F3) and F7, F8;

• Fluent written and spoken Azerbaijani and English, knowledge of Russian is an asset;

• Good knowledge of accounting;

• Proficiency in using office applications (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Outlook);

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in audit practice;

• Experience in supervising, planning, execution and reporting on audits of financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS;
