Responsibilities :

• Lead audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with company methodology and international auditing standards (IFRS, ISA).
• Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ businesses, industries, and internal control environments.
• Perform risk assessments and substantive audit procedures to to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support for their professional development.
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to delivering value-added insights.
Requirements :
Education and Skills required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in external audit.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and international auditing standards.
• Experience auditing clients across various sectors.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure during peak periods.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to pursue professional certifications (ACCA) is a plus.
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English languages.
• Opportunity to travel.
Personal qualities:
• Familiarity with audit software or accounting systems.
• Internship or previous experience in auditing or accounting is an advantage.
