Role Overview
The Bid, Proposal and Presentation Specialist builds the materials that win work. The role takes a scope, a set of requirements, or a business need and turns it into a clear and compelling story, expressed through concepts, solution narratives, presentations, and full proposal or tender submissions.
Building concepts and presentations is central to this role, and at least as important as written proposals. This includes shaping overall solutions, producing executive level presentations for senior management and decision makers, and creating marketing oriented materials that elevate the message and the brand.
Success depends on an exceptional command of English, strong document and presentation craftsmanship, the ability to think at concept and solution level, and the ability to interpret complex technical and commercial requirements accurately.
Responsibilities :
Key Responsibilities
• Build solution concepts and high level approaches that translate client needs into a clear and compelling story.
• Design and produce executive level presentations and pitch decks for senior management and decision makers.
• Develop overall solution narratives that combine multiple products and services into a single coherent offering.
• Create marketing oriented materials and visual content that strengthen the message and the brand.
• Develop high quality technical and commercial proposals from client scopes, requirements, and RFP, RFI, and tender documents.
• Identify, monitor, and review relevant tenders across target markets, and assess fit, eligibility, and feasibility.
• Build complete and compliant tender submissions, including all required forms, supporting documentation, and evidence.
• Interpret and break down requirements into structured responses, compliance matrices, and clear win themes.
• Coordinate inputs from technical, commercial, and management stakeholders into a single cohesive deliverable.
• Maintain a reusable library of concepts, templates, presentations, and past responses to accelerate future work.
• Manage multiple deliverables in parallel, ensuring every deadline and formatting rule is met.
Requirements :
Essential Requirements
• Concept and presentation building. Proven ability to develop concepts and design compelling presentations, including executive level decks for senior audiences.
• Document building. Proven ability to plan, structure, and produce professional documents such as proposals, tenders, and reports from start to finish.
• Exceptional English. A very high level of written and spoken English, with strong editing, proofreading, and tone control.
• Microsoft Office mastery. Advanced proficiency in Word and PowerPoint, including styles, templates, layout, tables, and long document structure.
• Solution and requirements comprehension. Strong ability to interpret complex requirements and shape them into clear solutions and compliant responses.
• Accuracy and organisation. Excellent attention to detail and the discipline to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.
Advantageous
• Cybersecurity knowledge. Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, products, and the wider cyber market.
• HLS, intelligence, and defence. Knowledge of homeland security, intelligence, and defence products and procurement environments.
• Public sector tendering. Experience with government and public sector tender processes and bid management methodologies.
• Visual and marketing design. Familiarity with design and visual content tools for producing marketing grade materials and presentations.
