About the job:

Experienced Construction Manager with over 20 years of expertise in EPC projects. The role involves overall leadership of civil engineering activities, including planning, execution, cost control, contract management, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery within timelines, budget, and quality standards.

•           Act as the focal point between the site construction team, project management, and Client representatives.

•            Ensure that construction activities move according to schedule and budget.

•            Approve work methods, schedules, and progress. 

•             Manage multiple subcontractors for civil works (pile/open foundations), and infrastructure works (roads, drainage, fencing).

•            Review IFC drawings, construction deliverables, and technical documents for compliance. Should be able to identify the conflicts if any between DD & Site Conditions.

•            Check optimum utilization of resources (Labor, materials, and equipment).

•            Development of effective communications and mechanisms for resolving conflicts among the various participants.

•            Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-contractors.

•            Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to Project Manager.

•            Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors.

•            Adhere to HSE procedures and resolve the issues if any on timely manner.

•            Ensure project documents are complete, and review site’s reports.

•            Regular inspection of construction sites.

•            Ensuring client satisfaction by monitoring the feedback of client.

•            Carrying out and attending regular meetings with the client and the subcontractors.

Qualifications: 

•            Bachelor’s in civil engineering.

•            20+ Years of relevant work experience.

•            Relevant work experience in Roads and Steel Structure Projects.

•            Experience in BP projects is a plus.

•            Experience and exposure to working within live oil and gas process plants.

•            Experienced in the implementation of construction industry best practices, systems, processes, and standards.

•            Fluent in Azerbaijani and English Language
