About the job:

Experienced Project Engineer with over 20 years of expertise in EPC projects. You will provide technical support to the Project Manager in managing consultants, coordinating stakeholders, reviewing design deliverables, and monitoring project progress. 

The role involves overall leadership of engineering activities, including planning, execution, cost control, contract management, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery within timelines, budget, and quality standards. 

· Reports to the Project Manager

· Supports the management and delivery of civil infrastructure projects and engineering assignments.

· Reviews consultant design submissions, reports, drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical studies.

· Supports interdisciplinary coordination with mobility, transport systems, architecture, landscape, utilities, operations, and construction teams.

· Tracks design development, approvals, deliverables, reviews, comments, and action items.

· Participate in technical workshops, coordination meetings, and stakeholder discussions.

· Reviews design proposals for compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, standards, and authority requirements.

· Coordinates with utility providers and external authorities regarding infrastructure interfaces and approvals.

· Supports identification, tracking, and resolution of technical issues, constraints, and design conflicts.

· Assists with risk identification and mitigation related to infrastructure works.

· Supports change management activities and assessment of design changes.

· Monitors consultant performance against agreed deliverables, schedules, and quality requirements.

· Supports preparation of technical reports, presentations, progress updates, and management briefings.

· Maintains records of reviews, comments, decisions, approvals, and technical correspondence.

Assists in planning construction, testing, commissioning, handover, and operational readiness activities where applicable.

Supports the resolution of construction-related technical queries and engineering issues during project delivery.

Qualifications: 

•  Bachelor’s in engineering.

•  20+ Years of relevant work experience.

•  Relevant work experience in Steel Structure Projects.

•  Experience in BP projects is a plus.

•  Experience and exposure to working within live oil and gas process plants.

•  Experienced in the implementation of construction industry best practices, systems, processes, and standards.

•  Fluent in the Azerbaijani and English Language
