Company brief:

Our company is comprised of the chain of restaurants in Baku, representing 2 well-known international brand names in Baku's popular locations. We are increasing with several more restaurants in 2019. Besides this, we are representing the largest outdoor advertising company in the world – JC Decaux, with planned expansion in operations through 2019 and years ahead.


Key responsibilities:

· Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles

Oversee financial reports for stockholders, taxes, regulatory agencies, and other financial groups relating to company financeUnderstand the big picture while managing the day-to-day financial detailsSimulate various financial scenarios through financial modeling and analytics to determine best course of actionInteracts at all levels and with budget owners or other stakeholders to produce timely, efficient and accurate month-end close and all internal management and financial reporting through annual reportMake recommendations for changes as needed and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and establishes the proper techniques to discover and prevent fraudManage accruals process / accounts payables, receivables efficientlyProduce accurate and regular P&Ls and quarterly balance sheets as per set deadlinesResponsible for compliance with statuary requirements, including timely reporting to appropriate government agenciesUndertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance controlling income, cash flow and expenditureConducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunitiesKeeping abreast of changes in tax and/or financial regulations and legislationResearching and reporting on factors influencing business performanceDeveloping / coaching more junior staff


Experience / skills required:
• Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or related field required; MBA preferred
• 5+ years experience in a financial management position
• Proven strategic planning experience at the management level
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and financial management software
• Ability to work on multiple high-value projects simultaneously
• Advanced knowledge of English and Russian languages
